About the position

The Dispensary Associate at Trulieve is responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by providing education on product benefits and potential side effects. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients receive the compassionate care they need while adhering to state regulations. The associate will work closely with management to enhance the customer experience and maintain a well-stocked and clean workstation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
• Provide empathy and compassion to patients.
• Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
• Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist customers with any product or device issues.
• Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
• Perform additional team tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
• Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people skills and effective communication in both verbal and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
