About the position

As a Dishwasher at Country Meadows Retirement Communities, you will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for residents in a welcoming, home-like environment. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $15 per hour, with opportunities for increased earnings based on experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring that all dishware and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains dishware, production equipment, pots and pans, floors, and walls.
• Rotates stock in all food storage areas including various serveries, cafes, and refrigerated units.
• Is polite and cheerful when greeting and serving residents.
• Assists residents with menu selector sheets.
• Properly cleans and sanitizes the dishes and silverware per company standards.
• Is responsible for floor maintenance in the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas.
• Operates the dish machine and other kitchen-related equipment as needed.
• Properly records temperature and sanitizer test results in temperature logs.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Kitchen and facility/restaurant dishwashing preferred, but not required.
• A positive customer service attitude demonstrating respect, friendliness, and willingness to serve others.
• Ability to work and collaborate well with others and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
