About The Position
Ponderosa Steakhouse in Butler, PA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests. The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware, maintaining the dishwashing area, and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness and tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized and stored.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Remove trash and recycling, and keep floors clean and dry.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist kitchen staff with other cleaning or prep tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the manager.
