We're hiring a dishwasher to join our team at a private day school in Towson, MD — right off Charles Street. While we're not on a bus line, we're easy to get to if you've got reliable transportation and are ready to work. As a dishwasher, you're not just washing plates — you're the heartbeat of our kitchen. We're searching for a dishwasher who already knows the pace and rhythm of a commercial dishroom. You'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly — washing dishes, managing trash removal, organizing food orders, and maintaining clean, orderly storage areas. In this role, your experience makes a real difference in keeping our kitchen operating at its best. Clean kitchens make great meals possible, and our dishwasher plays a big part in that.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
- Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
- Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
- Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
- Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
