About the position

The Disabilities & Mental Health School Readiness Coach plays a crucial role within the Council's Office of Child Development Team, focusing on ensuring program compliance and implementing individualized plans to support children and teachers in both classroom and home-based settings. This position requires a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to enhancing the readiness of children for school.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure program compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Implement individualized plans to support children and teachers.
  • Provide guidance and support in both classroom and home-based settings.
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification in IECE is required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in early childhood education.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet communications.
  • Valid Kentucky driver's license and reliable transportation.
