About the position

The Director of Surgical Sales is responsible for driving business results in the region by providing sales leadership, coaching, and strategic direction. This role focuses on achieving financial goals through revenue growth from new and existing accounts, overseeing a market potential of $10 million per year, and leading a team of six to eight specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Finance and Sales to establish target growth and revenue goals.
  • Establish, manage, and review sales results and assess market opportunities to meet objectives for new sales and customer retention.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with Corporate leadership and regional counterparts to promote teamwork and cultural continuity.
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with key customers to understand their business needs and develop a trusted adviser status.
  • Meet regularly with the top 25 customers in the Region.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota objectives while operating within cost, expense, revenue, and profit objectives.
  • Interface with divisional managers, corporate management, clients, and sales personnel within Agiliti and Surgical Services.
  • Participate in customer calls at high-value accounts to ensure Agiliti exceeds customer expectations.
  • Ensure Territory Planning contains current information on revenue potential and close probability for all prospects.
  • Improve and refine processes to increase sales, gain operational efficiencies, and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate proficient leadership skills that motivate employees and build competent teams.
  • Ensure timeliness of Region-wide performance appraisals.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales management experience, focusing on Surgical Solutions.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the healthcare, hospital industry, or medical equipment sales and services.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
