About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and directing the assigned warehousing teams in achieving business and financial objectives by providing Tyson Foods a competitive warehouse advantage. Responsibilities include: Driving and managing all safety initiatives through your respective facility managers to ensure a safe work environment is achieved Representing Warehousing performance and strategy to business unit leadership Ensuring the growth and development of your leadership team to ensure a strong, sustainable pipeline of talent is in place Planning for and managing assets such as Inventory, plant property and equipment Providing business planning such as budgets, goals, strategy, and projections Providing recommendations for improvements in operations Develop effective warehouse management solutions by ensuring inventory throughput is optimized and inventory integrity is maintained throughout the warehousing process Achieving regulatory compliance domestically and internationally; Providing training for future Tyson managers Analyzing and forecasting manpower and equipment needs for the locations Developing operational plans to increase cost savings Performing other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor s degree or equivalent.
10 plus years of distribution management experience; must have demonstrated success in leading a diverse group of administrative and or operational teams to include managing business and capital plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Standard computer skills.
As needed travel.
