This position involves supporting negotiations with partners and leading internal cross-functional deal assessment teams. The role requires identifying new licensing opportunities and respective partners, negotiating term sheets, and preparing business cases for presentation to senior management. The candidate will manage the assigned opportunity evaluation and approval process by leading cross-functional teams across various departments such as Portfolio, Technical Development, Finance, IP/Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing. Additionally, the role includes developing business cases and terms, negotiating contracts, and supporting the US legal team in concluding and managing contracts to execution. The candidate will also partner with Project Management to coordinate Due Diligence and contract input from other functional areas, interface with senior managers across various functions, monitor and report on assigned project status, and ensure timely closure of CARs. The position requires managing the SANITY system to ensure all assigned deal opportunities are reported accurately and updated as the deal process unfolds.
