About the position

The Director, Sales Enablement Business Partner, creates and implements data-driven learning strategies to boost sales performance. Working closely with sales leadership as a trusted partner, you will help identify priorities, address performance gaps, and deliver impactful learning solutions aligned with company goals. Additionally, the Director will lead a team of Learning Business Partners to ensure effective implementation and success of these strategies for their stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored strategies to address identified performance gaps, including specific sales objectives, learning development plans, and accountability measures.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and skill gaps, developing targeted learning solutions.
  • Identify clear success metrics, audience impact, and prioritize among other critical enablement initiatives.
  • Create and implement learning programs to improve sales productivity and engagement.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Learning & Development teams on enablement initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Oversee learning programs from assessment to execution and impact measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize enablement workflows and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Represent sales learning needs across the business for continuous development investment.
  • Mentor the learning team, fostering innovation and accountability.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • 8+ years in sales enablement or related fields, preferably in high-growth environments with knowledge of sales methodologies and pipeline management.
  • Experience collaborating with senior sales leaders to drive business impact.
  • Proficiency in collecting, interpreting, and synthesizing data to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to understand connections and broader impacts.
  • Effective communication skills to present findings, make recommendations, and influence diverse audiences.
  • Ability to mediate between business requirements and multiple stakeholders.
  • Capability to manage the transition process when implementing new performance improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of organizational structures, culture, and dynamics to tailor solutions appropriately.
  • Ability to guide and motivate individuals to achieve their performance goals.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools (dashboards, CRM, pipeline, etc.) to provide actionable insights that inform sales learning strategies.
