About the position

As the Director of Product Portfolio Management at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability by aligning product offerings with high-growth industries and industrial automation segments. This senior role involves developing and executing strategies to expand the product portfolio, managing a complex global portfolio, and leading improvement initiatives across functions. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and market insights will be crucial in influencing the company's strategic direction and enhancing market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the company's product portfolio, including existing products and new offerings.
  • Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Define and prioritize portfolio investments based on strategic fit, market potential, and financial viability.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from concept development to end-of-life decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and feature enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on portfolio strategy and market dynamics.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance product offerings.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in product management or related roles.
  • Significant experience in portfolio management and leadership positions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to identify growth industries with high market potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
