Director, Product Marketing

About the position

As Director of Product Marketing, you will be a key business leader and part of the Systems Irvine Business Unit whose product portfolio includes optical systems, light sources, sensors, lens assemblies, optics, coating and manufacturing services. You will be responsible for the business for the Inspection and Metrology segment including product strategy, roadmap, sales pipeline, and new market growth opportunities. Your priority and focus are with key customers and internal stakeholders to develop and lead strategies to maximize growth, profit, and customer satisfaction. In this exciting, fast paced role, you will report directly to the Sr Director of Products for Systems Irvine Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Own team, product, and segment business success
• Direct the development of company market requirements for MKS Inspection and Metrology market, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing
• Drive the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace
• Reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans
• Conduct market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs
• Establish pricing strategies
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
• Lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments
• Act as the technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Masters degree preferred
• 12+ years of related experience
