About the position

The Director of Product Management at RUCKUS Networks will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AV over IP and high-performance AV networking products. This position involves driving the development, strategy, and execution of the Pro AV portfolio, ensuring that RUCKUS remains a leader in the competitive AV market. The role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the AV market and customer needs, working closely with various teams to deliver exceptional products and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, assess competitive landscapes, and understand customer requirements and trends.
• Develop and execute the AV product strategy for RUCKUS, aligning it with overall business goals and market trends.
• Lead the product development process, including feature prioritization, defining product specifications, and ensuring successful execution of development projects.
• Plan and execute product launches, working with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing and sales materials, and overseeing go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure efficient execution of the product roadmap within specified timelines and budgets.
• Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate these insights into actionable product requirements.
• Manage the financial aspects of the AV product line, including pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in product management (5 years+), particularly in networking or technology-related fields (15 years+).
• Strong understanding of AV networking technologies and trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused with a keen eye for user experience and product quality.
