About the position
The Director of Product Management for Webinar/Events at RingCentral is responsible for leading the product strategy and roadmap for virtual and hybrid live events. This role involves managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet customer needs and business goals while maintaining high quality standards. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and influence global development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Build, partner, and drive the product strategy and roadmap for virtual and hybrid live events.
- Develop product requirements and specifications to ensure that products meet customer needs and business goals.
- Conduct market analysis and customer research to identify product opportunities.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee product quality assurance and ensure products meet high quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across RingCentral to ensure customer success.
- Experience influencing and leading global development and product management teams.
- Drive a robust software development process that is agile, predictable, and positive.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment, with direct experience in virtual events and webinars.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing exceptional product managers and building high-performing product teams.
- Passionate about creatively applying technology to solve complex problems.
- Strong competitive drive to win by surprising and delighting customers with their product.
- Builder with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels at developing simple, clear customer value from complex and ambiguous situations.
- Develops and articulates a strategic vision for their product, with the drive for results and attention to detail to successfully execute that vision.
- Extensive experience leading cross-functionally to develop successful products from concept to commercial success.
- Deep understanding of product management and software development best practices, methodologies, and tools.
