Director Pharmacy

About the position

The Pharmacy Director is responsible for directing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including managing and mentoring staff, developing and enforcing policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining accreditation, and accountability for the pharmacy's budget and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of pharmacy operations
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff
• Develop and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain accreditation
• Accountability for the pharmacy's budget and productivity

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Advanced degree (MS, Pharm D, and MBA) strongly preferred
• Five (5) years healthcare experience
• At least two years' experience in a leadership role
• Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred
• Previous leadership, program development, budget and productivity, and clinical experience required
• Strong human relations and interpersonal skills
• Current (or eligible) New Mexico Pharmacist license required
