About the position

The Director, People Operations & Analytics will serve as a strategic partner in managing the talent operations of the Atlanta Hawks. This role focuses on enhancing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, developing policies and procedures, and leading special HR projects. Additionally, the director will enhance people analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making across the organization, ultimately fostering an engaging employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement new processes and policies to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze workflow and communication points to enhance HR processes.
  • Collaborate with HR verticals to drive efficiencies in employee touchpoints.
  • Serve as a key partner for the Workday team to streamline HR processes using technology.
  • Lead and participate in special HR projects as needed.
  • Act as the primary contact for talent analytics and compensation reporting across business units.
  • Build practices for collecting and analyzing HR data to support business leaders.
  • Manage employee engagement surveys and analyze results to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure quality assurance of key talent data sets and reporting metrics.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of People Operations experience managing and creating business processes for complex organizations.
  • 2-3 years of People Analytics experience performing various people and compensation analysis.
  • Experience with Workday is required.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
