About the position

The Director of Security Governance will manage a team responsible for end-to-end security matters within the Business Area (Enterprise and Product Security) at Ericsson. This role ensures that the Ericsson Security Strategy and Global guidelines are in place and aligned with the new business under the responsibility of Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions. The position is hybrid, with preferred locations in Plano, Texas or Boise, Idaho, and does not offer relocation. The Director will engage in initiatives including the implementation of ways of working, support ongoing projects, and manage a high-performing team while collaborating with other departments like IT, Product, and Legal. This role offers growth opportunities, training, and international exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team responsible for security certifications and attestations necessary to support the enterprise business.
  • Oversee information security management as part of Ericsson ISMS.
  • Develop and manage local security and steering documents.
  • Conduct third-party security risk management and assess Info/IT security risks.
  • Promote security awareness within the organization.
  • Implement new technologies and security frameworks.
  • Support ongoing projects and answer business-related security questions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance security initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience in Information, IT, and Cyber Security frameworks and implementation industry best practices.
  • Solid experience in coordinating security frameworks like NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001.
  • Experience managing different attestations and certifications such as SOC 2 and PCI.
  • Strong background in implementing security frameworks and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience in Third-Party & Supplier Cybersecurity Assurance.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security assurance over network/cloud infrastructures.
  • Advanced skills in security metrics, measurements, and reports.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience with high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
