The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and ensure the successful renewal and expansion of Single Digits' services in the Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) industry. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering trusted relationships with key decision-makers, and positioning Single Digits as a market leader. The Director of Sales will mentor, coach, and support sales team members, ensuring high performance and alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Establish clear sales objectives and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by promoting accountability, motivation, and professional growth within the sales team.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth through both new and existing MDU customers.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, expanding Single Digits' presence in the MDU industry.
  • Maintain a rhythm of engagement with key decision-makers and influencers to secure renewals and new contracts.
  • Ensure effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecasting within Salesforce.com to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company initiatives and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships with MDU technology buyers and key stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and present tailored technology solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that position Single Digits as a trusted provider of managed network services and SaaS solutions.
  • Represent Single Digits at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen market presence and drive business growth.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership with a proven track record of success in technology, telecommunications, or managed network services sales.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals.
  • Strong background in strategic account management and executive relationship building.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, SaaS solutions, and managed network services.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial drivers in the MDU and technology industries.
