The Director of Sales & International Business is responsible for the sales, distribution, legal and regulatory aspects of business management for all markets outside of the United States and Canada. This role involves establishing and managing a distributor network overseas, expanding international sales by increasing business with existing distributors and developing business in new international markets. The position requires maintaining a CRM database, traveling regularly to meet with distributors and accounts globally, and overseeing customer service for international accounts. Additionally, the Director will have oversight of overseas warehousing and distribution, ensure compliance with international regulations, manage contracts and technical agreements, and protect the company's intellectual property rights. This role also involves providing input to distributors for strategic planning, educating them on product technical aspects and selling points, and staying informed about industry developments and competitor activities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring new product ideas to market is essential, as is evaluating distributor performance annually and preparing budgets and sales projections. Accurate forecasting of customer needs and participation in relevant webinars and seminars are also key responsibilities. Continuous monitoring of websites for regulatory and legal requirements impacting the business is necessary. Other duties as assigned.
