About The Position
Plaza Healthcare is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join their team as the Director of Respiratory. This role involves overseeing the entire respiratory therapy department, ensuring quality patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient department operations. The position requires leadership, strategic planning, and the development of policies and procedures to enhance respiratory care services. Plaza Healthcare is a 179-bed CMS Rated 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility located in South Scottsdale, specializing in high-acuity post-acute care, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, dialysis, complex wound care, and rehabilitation. They have served Arizona and surrounding states for over 30 years.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Current Arizona State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of quality improvement
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
