About the position
The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation team, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical programs, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. This role involves attending care plan meetings, developing new programs, and supervising staff to provide quality rehabilitation services in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all members of the rehab team.
- Attend care plan meetings as indicated by facility and regional manager.
- Ensure clinical programs of all disciplines are running smoothly.
- Assist in developing and implementing new programs as needed.
- Ensure screening policies are operating and compliant.
- Verify that documentation is completed and filed promptly and that chart audits are completed.
- Oversee rehab staff compliance with all policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed and/or registered therapist.
- Experience in rehabilitation services.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
