About The Position
LTC Therapy is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed therapist who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering high-quality rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting.
Requirements
- Active PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP license required
- Skilled nursing facility experience required
Nice To Haves
- Prior rehabilitation leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation operations preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services
- Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team
- Coordinate with nursing, physicians, administration, and other departments to ensure seamless resident care
- Monitor department performance, productivity, and clinical outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Support quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care planning
