As an early hire, you'll have an immediate, highly leveraged impact. This position will be a key part of how we stand out in a crowded marketplace and define an entirely new product category. If you like to craft compelling content that is not only clear and accessible but also resonates deeply with security people without the typical "marketing speak", you'll fit in well with our growing product marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Craft narratives that communicate Cyberhaven's value, making complex ideas accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and execute a PR strategy to elevate Cyberhaven's market visibility through media and analyst coverage.
  • Define pricing strategy, analyzing market trends and customer insights to optimize models and maximize revenue.
  • Oversee multi-channel product launches, ensuring impactful rollouts across PR, analyst relations, and digital channels.
  • Represent Cyberhaven at industry events, presenting on cybersecurity topics to build thought leadership and connect with key audiences.
  • Collaborate with product management to influence roadmap decisions and advocate for customer-driven feature development.
  • Track and report key metrics, demonstrating the impact of product marketing efforts on growth, adoption, and revenue.

Requirements

  • Experience in product marketing for cybersecurity
  • Portfolio of clear and effective product positioning and messaging
  • An obsession for the details and high standards (good isn't good enough)
  • Track record of being a top performer among peers
  • Clear evidence of natural curiosity and creativity
  • Located in the Bay Area and available to come into the office two times a week.
