About the position
The Director of Nursing at South Health And Rehabilitation LLC is responsible for overseeing and managing nursing personnel within a long-term skilled care facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, assisting with care planning, and implementing quality assurance programs. The Director will work collaboratively with department heads and staff to enhance patient care and support their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage nursing personnel within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel.
- Assist with the care planning process.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management programs.
- Make daily rounds to direct the work of employees and observe for hazards and work duty problems.
- Ensure services are delivered to clients consistent with their needs.
- Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement and corrective follow-up actions.
- Follow up daily on each unit to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded.
Requirements
- Active RN License within the State.
- At least five years of nursing experience.
- Three years as a Director of Nursing or Director of Clinical Services in a long-term/skilled care organization.
