About the position

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction of the Marketing division, overseeing all activities related to casino and non-casino marketing. This role involves implementing marketing strategies, ensuring operational effectiveness, and coordinating various marketing programs, including brand strategy, customer relationship management, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of division's leadership staff
  • Develop, implement, execute, and achieve long and short-term divisional business strategies
  • Formulate and operate within annual marketing plan, operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Implement the Corporate marketing strategy
  • Monitor competitive products, marketing activities and Players Club point structures
  • Prepare and deliver monthly budget review
  • Provide direction for player invitational events including tournaments, special shows and other balanced event programming to optimize rated player participation
  • Collaborate with Corporate marketing regarding events and promotions, and direct marketing arenas
  • Coordinate cross-marketing initiatives with other sister properties and strategic partners
  • Work with Corporate Analytics team to evaluate trends and promotional results; use data to adjust future planning and events
  • Participate in planning of advertising and promotion activities including print, online, and direct mail
  • Ensure a consistent Corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events on property
  • Make decision and recommendation as to property-supported images and marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with property division heads to ensure the adherence of property branding guidelines and standards
  • Ensure department efficiency and rectify any issues that deter work from being completed at a high level and on deadline
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience performing same or similar job duties
  • Previous management experience required, including project management and marketing analytics
  • Previous experience working with or in the gaming industry required
  • Must have the ability to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Efficient using computers, including but not limited to MS Office
  • Leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower team members to achieve objectives with a 'team' approach
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
