About the position

The Director of Hub Launch is responsible for execution of YouVersion's Global Hub expansion, ensuring that each new Hub is launched on-time, on-budget, and in alignment with YouVersion's mission. This role will lead a team of Launch Managers to identify and prepare Hub facilities, select Hub Leaders, manage launch budgets, and oversee selection and training of contracts in support of the rapid expansion of YouVersion's global presence. This position reports to the Head of Global Impact and collaborates closely with teams across the YouVersion organization to achieve objectives in the first 90 days of Hub operations and effectively transitions ownership of fully launched Hubs to the Hub Operations Team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Hub Launch Execution.
  • Oversee the execution of the Hub Launch Playbook to meet expansion goals outlined in the Hub Strategic Roadmap.
  • Manage budgeting, staffing allocations, and contractor hiring for new Hubs, in partnership with Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure each Hub launch follows a structured, repeatable, and scalable process.
  • Lead and develop a team of Hub Launch Managers, ensuring each launch is executed with excellence.
  • Supervise the Recruiting & Training Manager, ensuring effective contractor hiring, onboarding, and cultural alignment for each new Hub.
  • Identify, vet, and select Hub Leaders for each target market, leveraging key relationships and partnerships to ensure strong leadership in every region.
  • Collaborate with ministry partners and local networks to source highly qualified individuals who will champion YouVersion's mission in their market.
  • Establish and oversee Post-Launch Initiatives from each YouVersion Functional Team to ensure each Hub is set up for long-term impact and sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Hub Operations Team to transition newly launched Hubs into ongoing support structures.

Requirements

  • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, ensuring alignment across multiple functions and teams.
  • Strong leadership & team development skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, International Development, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in global operations, project management, or organizational leadership.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-regional projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven experience with cross-cultural leadership, international hiring, and remote workforce management.
