About the position

The Director of Global Strategic Accounts will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the VP of Business Development, RVPs, and local Account Executives to establish and execute strategic plans that focuses on cultivating long-term relationships with end-use customers. This position is responsible for all aspects of lead generation, market penetration, and the execution of approved business plans for qualified target accounts. The Director will effectively manage 20-30 target accounts simultaneously while ensuring strong communication across internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify target accounts and key decision-makers in collaboration with Team Leaders and Account Executives.
  • Develop and implement tailored action plans for each target account, incorporating input from team leaders and account executives.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding the status and progress of target accounts at any stage of the business cycle.
  • Proactively engage with industry partners including associations, contractors, architects, designers, property managers, and owner's representatives to develop opportunities within target accounts.
  • Focus on creating new annuity accounts and enhancing value for existing accounts, managing contracts and agreements, and overseeing service/product standard programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape, including direct and indirect competitors.
  • Participate in travel, industry events, trade shows, and other relationship development activities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Business Development, particularly with end-use customers.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and relationships, including dealers, general contractors, developers, and owner's representatives.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain rapport with customers and internal teams.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
