About the position

The Director of Food and Beverage at The Woodlands Country Club is a strategic business leader responsible for managing the daily operations of the Club's food and beverage department. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards of excellence while fostering a People First Culture. The Director will develop sales and marketing plans, manage budgets, ensure compliance with sanitation standards, and oversee employee training and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop aggressive food and beverage sales, marketing, and net revenue plans.
• Manage the food & beverage department, including forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
• Schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective action plans.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Work with Member committees to develop and implement Member activities and events.
• Train and monitor employees while evaluating their performance and productivity.
• Recruit, select, and develop talent while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Club Management or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration (preferred).
• Level 1 Sommelier Certification (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a self-motivated and strategic mindset.
• Ability to adapt to change and solve problems through an open-minded approach.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
• Proficient with POS systems, Microsoft Office products, and social media.
