The position involves directing the overall operations and staff of the Finance department, developing and managing operational goals, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with departmental budget initiatives. You will also be responsible for customer service standards, maintaining the Accounting System of Internal Control, and financial reporting as required by regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall operations and staff of the Finance department.
  • Develop, implement, and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Prepare, monitor, and adhere to budgets and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
  • Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain the Accounting System of Internal Control.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute an efficient accounting and financial reporting system.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements from regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with the annual Company Budget and Capital Plan.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified staff capable of executing required actions for compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of rules and regulations from governing bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 7-10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Passion to learn and succeed within a casino gaming/hospitality organization.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups.
  • Experience working in a collaborative shared services environment.
  • Strong communication skills to distill financial information.
  • Passion for operations and ability to lead a guest-facing department.
  • Practical problem-solving skills for financial decision-making.
