About The Position
St. John the Evangelist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland is seeking an evangelizing Catholic who knows, loves, and lives the teachings of the Church to serve as the Director Faith Formation for adults (OCIA) and coordinate the Confirmation Program, Young Adult Ministry and Youth Ministry. St. John’s is a vibrant and multi-cultural parish.
Requirements
- A Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Theology or Catechesis preferred.
- Practical parish experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Availability to work on Sunday morning and some evenings.
Nice To Haves
- Appropriate educational background will be considered if a Masters or Bachelor's degree in Theology or Catechesis is not held.
