The Director of District Operations serves as a key member of the Superintendent's Operational Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership, coordination, and support for district-wide operational functions that advance teaching, learning, and student success. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, the Director serves as a strategic operational partner to the Business Office and district leadership team, supporting the planning, coordination, monitoring, and continuous improvement of district-wide operational systems and services. The position works collaboratively with school leaders, department directors, municipal partners, vendors, and community stakeholders to ensure operational functions are efficient, responsive, and aligned with the district's strategic priorities. The Director serves as a visible presence throughout the district, helping to identify operational challenges, facilitate communication across departments, monitor service delivery, and support the successful implementation of district initiatives. This role combines educational leadership with business and operational management expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness, improve service delivery, and support high-performing schools.
