About the position
The Director of Construction is a key leadership role within a fast-growing development company in Bella Vista, Arkansas. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of multifamily construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a passion for excellence in project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Direct the overall planning and development of new project activities and the activities of all current projects.
- Manage the budgets of all projects.
- Oversee all project managers and their projects.
- Advise the client and other project team members concerning base building and internal project management.
- Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, budget, and schedule.
- Assist in developing conceptual estimates utilizing market data.
- Determine quantities of materials during early stages of the design.
- Develop scopes of work for all project-related trades.
Requirements
- B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related degree.
- 10+ years of construction management experience in single-family and multifamily construction, focusing on leadership roles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Marks Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
