About The Position

The Director of Aggregate Parts plays a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement, management, and distribution of aggregate materials essential to construction projects across the United States. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the consistent availability and quality of aggregate parts, optimizing supply chain operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and budgetary goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the aggregate materials industry.
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading complex supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of aggregate materials, construction industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Analytical skills are essential for evaluating supplier performance, market trends, and inventory data to make informed decisions that optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills are employed to build and maintain supplier relationships and to collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments.
  • Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems enables the Director to streamline operations and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for sourcing and managing aggregate parts to support construction operations.
