About The Position

The Director of Aggregate Parts plays a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement, management, and distribution of aggregate materials essential to construction projects across the United States. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the consistent availability and quality of aggregate parts, optimizing supply chain operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and budgetary goals. The role demands strategic planning to forecast demand, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Director will also foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ultimately, this position ensures that all aggregate parts are delivered efficiently and reliably to support the successful completion of construction projects nationwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the aggregate materials industry.
• Proven experience managing teams and leading complex supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of aggregate materials, construction industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Analytical skills are essential for evaluating supplier performance, market trends, and inventory data to make informed decisions that optimize cost and efficiency.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills are employed to build and maintain supplier relationships and to collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems enables the Director to streamline operations and maintain accurate records.

• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices and environmental regulations in construction.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for sourcing and managing aggregate parts to support construction operations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales and parts teams to forecast material needs and align supply chain activities with project schedules.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes affecting aggregate materials to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
• Implement and oversee inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Prepare and manage budgets related to aggregate parts procurement and logistics, reporting on key performance indicators to senior leadership.
