About the position

Clean Harbors is looking for a Director National Product Leader - HHW to join our safety conscious team! The Director will be responsible for the aggressive and consistent growth in revenue for a particular line of business, as assigned, including the sales and operations of the group. Position can sit anywhere within the United States. Clean Harbors (NYSE: CLH) is North America's leading provider of environmental and industrial services. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the revenue growth for the particular line of business as assigned.
  • Exercise program oversight for revenue quality and margin performance of the line of business as assigned.
  • Identify new revenue streams including ancillary revenue streams.
  • Analyze ongoing business for gaps, deficiencies, and opportunities to improve margin.
  • Monitor and report Line of Business performance by vertical, by region and by business unit.
  • Direct management oversight for sales personnel where applicable.
  • Provide expert resources to assist field sales and vertical sales in sales support.
  • Responsible for defining the value proposition for the assigned line of business.
  • Work with facility operations personnel in understanding both immediate and future plant disposal needs.
  • Conduct complex and sensitive assignments from senior management for the line of business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related is required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to analyze data as it relates to the revenue and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to translate financial and statistical data into understandable terms for line managers.
  • Ability to organize action items into ongoing and sustainable programs.
  • Financial management, operations, or business development experience.
  • Ability to understand an issue and address and resolve strategically.
  • Extremely organized and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the environmental or related industries.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Ability to travel 50%.
