About the position
The position involves organizing and supporting business development opportunities from a technical perspective. The role requires participation in scoping calls, translating customer requests into project strategies, and leading the review and approval of technical offers. The individual will engage in high-profile project discussions to ensure alignment with customer expectations and suggest strategic alternatives to the development team. Additionally, the role includes contributing to high-quality technical documents, representing the function in business review meetings, and supporting branding initiatives at industry conferences.
Responsibilities
- Organize the support required for each BD's opportunity from a technical point of view
- Participate in the scoping call
- Translate the customer request and elaborate Project Strategy
- Take part in the reviewing and approval of the Piramal API offers
- Lead the follow-up presentation / Bid defense of the technical offers
- Engage in high-profile project discussions both internally and with customers
- Suggest alternative strategic approaches to the Development team for better project outcomes
- Input to high-quality industry standard technical documents
- Actively represent the function in business review meetings
- Support branding initiatives from a technical perspective
- Represent the business in industry conferences as a speaker
- Work with the Business Development team to develop technical sales strategy guides
- Benchmark with industry peers and contribute to the implementation of strategies, new technologies, and best practices
