About the position

The Implementation-Conversion Director at FIS will lead a team responsible for client tax reporting contracts, focusing on US and international tax information reporting and retirement tax reporting. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and direct client interaction at senior management levels, ensuring effective implementation and operational support for new contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6-8 people supporting client tax reporting contracts.
• Establish business strategies in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Perform resource planning and allocation while translating strategies into actionable items.
• Interact directly with clients at a senior/executive management level, managing problem escalation and providing sales support.
• Manage a staff of multi-functional and technical professionals along with a budget and revenue goals.
• Identify, develop, and implement new processes, improve existing processes, and eliminate ineffective processes using FIS's conversion management principles.
• Maintain staff continuity and foster cooperation and information sharing regarding FIS products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 15-20 years of experience in US and international tax information reporting and retirement tax reporting.
• Exceptional management skills in leading significant client tax engagements.
• Financial and tax industry knowledge, financial management, and planning skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage staff, budget, and schedules.
