About the position

The Commercial Finance Director at Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is a key leadership role responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting of commercial activities across various markets. This position collaborates closely with commercial leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that drive profitable growth. The director will lead a team of analysts and ensure alignment between commercial strategies and operational plans, contributing to the overall success of the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of the commercial aspects of the America's business unit's annual strategic planning process.
• Work with commercial leaders to vet strategies and ensure growth plans are aligned with MCC's organic growth opportunities.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for the Commercial team, ensuring plans are consistent with long-term growth and profitability targets.
• Engage with commercial leadership on contract review and longer-term account analysis of top 30 accounts.
• Partner with commercial leadership on commercial pipeline performance evaluation and help create and track metrics.
• Lead the monthly revenue forecasting process, ensuring inputs from commercial, SIOP, and plant sources are included.
• Work with the IT and finance teams to refine and improve forecasting tools and reporting.
• Create consumable revenue performance reporting across multiple dimensions and develop insights on performance drivers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven success in a manufacturing or distribution environment with progressive responsibilities in finance and accounting functions.
• 3+ years in a commercial finance role with dimensional complexity similar to MCC's business.
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in pivot tables; knowledge of Power BI, Hyperion EPM Suite, and QlikView is preferred.
