Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience with data and tech, including using DMPs/CDPs and Addressable TV.
  • Understanding of programmatic.
  • Proven experience in audience development.
  • Hands-on experience using multiple data sources for activation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a day-to-day contributor on specific client teams, focusing on omni-audience development and coordination with Traders and Traditional Activation teams for campaign implementation and measurement.
  • Leverage Horizon’s proprietary Connected Marketing Platform, blu., to enable data-driven marketing.
  • Partner directly with Data Scientists on client accounts.
  • Be embedded within the Business Solutions team and assigned to a specific pod of accounts, reporting directly to a VP, Data Solutions.
  • Contribute to content and use cases for new business.
  • Understand the blu. platform, including data sources, dictionaries, taxonomy, refresh cadence, and access methods (UI, Snowflake, APIs).
  • Develop use cases for clients.
  • Explore and define seed audiences for audience strategy against business objectives using blu. and/or client 1P data.
  • Direct Data Scientists on queries needed for insight development and custom audiences.
  • Define correct models, dictate individual model inputs, and establish frameworks of business rules for queries.
  • Review similarities and differences of attributes against audiences and uncover insights leading to high-value audiences.
  • Prioritize audiences against KPIs and identify use cases for attitudinal data or custom survey work.
  • Provide input to the Analytics team on KPI construction.
  • Size seed audiences, look-alikes, and audience availability by partner in blu.
  • Build screen and partner allocation based on objectives and audience deliveries, considering communication goals.
  • Develop audience architecture by product, KPI, messages, and landing pages.
  • Coordinate with client CRM teams or other buying teams on audiences and messages.
  • Work with platform activation teams to recommend 2nd party and platform data based on client objectives.
  • Finalize audience architecture, avails, and budgets.
  • Define frequency goals with Digital and Traditional Activation teams.
  • Work with activation teams on the mix between video, display, and other vehicles.
  • Distribute to media partners and internal HMI buy platforms, setting up new partners for distribution and return path data.
  • Work directly with Traders and Traditional Activation teams on campaign implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Identify new audience optimizations based on campaign performance data in collaboration with VP and Data Scientist.
  • Collaborate with client CRM/Email teams on audience development and optimization.
  • Partner with analytics on reporting insights.
