About the position

The Director, Business Intelligence & Commercial Data Strategy at Zelis is responsible for promoting a culture of data and analytics innovation within the commercial organization. This role involves leveraging Zelis data assets to enhance reporting and create new value pools. The Director will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations, acting as a strategic advisor and driving transformative initiatives that align business strategy with innovative thought leadership. The position requires collaboration across various teams to deliver on reporting requirements that support Sales Performance and Client Reporting Roadmaps, necessitating deep functional, technical, and domain expertise in revenue operations reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the Snowflake data warehouse architecture supports RevOps reporting.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and other internal teams for data alignment and reporting accuracy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, building relationships with technology leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Build and execute a data visualization strategic plan for commercial performance dashboards using BI tools.
  • Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and prioritize requirements based on business needs.
  • Provide performance insights through data analysis and quantify key performance trends.
  • Develop and implement solutions to reduce sales forecasting error.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years in a sales operations strategy role.
  • Experience with HubSpot, SalesForce, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, SQL development, and BI tools.
  • Expert Excel skills, including Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Fuzzy Match.
  • Extensive experience in demonstrating thought-leadership and decision-making.
  • Experience in creating meaningful data visualizations that communicate a story.
  • Expert skill in developing and implementing programs in a leadership role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a technology setting related to revenue operations.
  • Ability to work with executive and senior leaders to align and deliver commitments.
