About the position
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Autism Center of Nebraska plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Responsibilities
- Teach independent living skills such as maintaining the home, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Participate in community activities chosen by the individuals.
- Document care and medication administration.
- Provide transportation for individuals as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Experience in teaching or related fields.
