About the position

The Dining Services Technician I (Server) position at Westminster Suncoast is a part-time role focused on providing excellent dining service to residents. The role involves various tasks such as food assembly, delivery, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This position is ideal for students, offering flexible hours primarily on weekends and occasional weeknights.

Responsibilities

• Perform table service and excellent customer service based on established serving standards and guidelines.
• Serve meals to residents according to meal tickets in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform light cleaning and stocking duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Wash dishes, cut desserts, and prepare items for the next scheduled meal period or day.
• Maintain temperature and sanitation logs as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knife handling skills.
• Customer service skill sets.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 to 6 months experience in a high volume dining environment or residential clinical dining environment.
