About the position

The candidate will assist with various facets of due diligence and transactional activities for various loan products and operational teams. The role will support transaction management with the preparation of client reporting, exception management reporting & reconciliation of mortgage data and any other items as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily exceptions, remedy collateral issues on loans by obtaining loan documents and other information from sellers and 3rd party providers.
  • Engage internal groups to reconcile loan data and ensure data systems are updated.
  • Work with multiple data sources to generate operational and client level reporting.
  • Participates in product and process development and SOR development and testing.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education and experience.
  • A strong desire to be in investment banking with a working knowledge of mortgage loan data, securitization, and/or origination is a plus.
  • 2+ years' experience in real estate related or financial services industry and/or banking.
  • Working knowledge of RMBS transactions.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Ability to address ad-hoc projects in addition to maintain daily workload.
