About The Position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at GreenHaven, you will collaborate closely with clients and the internal team to implement marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads. Your role will involve managing various digital channels, including social media, blogs, websites, email campaigns, and SEO, to achieve the company's marketing objectives. You will work with GreenHaven clients and their digital properties to help them grow and meet their business goals. A key part of this role involves creating blog and webpage written content to improve clients' Google rankings, developing and executing social media content strategies across multiple platforms to boost engagement and brand visibility, and coordinating GreenHaven resources such as Website Designers, Developers, Social Media Specialists, and Search Ads Specialists. You will leverage your writing or journalism background to produce high-quality, creative, and well-researched content, creating compelling social media posts, stories, and campaigns that align with client brand voice and marketing objectives. Diligent research is essential to produce content that adheres to Google's E.A.T. Model (Expertise, Authoritative, and Trustworthy), and you should be able to generate creative content ideas. Professional, clear, and concise communication is required to understand and execute content visions. This position offers flexible, part-time hours, promoting work-life balance. You will be a self-starter, capable of learning WordPress and troubleshooting client blog posts and landing pages, with training provided for necessary technologies. A desire to provide high-touch, prompt client support to promote their company message and overall digital marketing footprint is expected.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated high level written English proficiency.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
  • Proven track record of customer service excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage changing client moods and expectations.
  • Clear and concise communications, both written and verbally.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with online systems.
  • Project & Task management process understanding.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes such as Search Engine Optimization basics.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress, Freedcamp, Google Chat, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Hrefs, Ubersuggest, WP Engine, Siteground, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Work with GreenHaven clients and their website and other digital properties to help them grow and meet their business goals.
  • Create blog and webpage written content to help clients rank well on Google.
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies across multiple platforms to increase engagement and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate GreenHaven resources such as Website Designers, Developers, Social Media Specialists and Search Ads Specialists.
  • Produce high quality, creative and well-researched content for GHI's clients, utilizing a background and experience in writing or journalism.
  • Create compelling social media posts, stories, and campaigns that align with client brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research to produce content that abides by Google's E.A.T. Model (Expertise, authoritative and trustworthy) and generate creative ideas for content.
  • Communicate in a professional, clear and concise manner to assess the vision for the content and follow through with that vision.
  • Learn WordPress and troubleshoot when necessary for Client blog posts and landing pages.
  • Provide a high-touch, prompt client support to assist in promoting their company message and overall digital marketing footprint.
  • Review design updates or other site changes completed by the team for quality and completeness before presenting to the Client.
