About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist serves as a key business partner by providing creative solutions that generate market awareness of Curtis Lane Equipment’s products, services, and brand. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely will all levels of associates and other business partners to develop, implement, maintain market strategy across the Company’s multi-state stores.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, developing, implementing and maintaining multiple avenues of marketing strategies to drive sales and customer awareness; creates and maintains content and digital presence
  • Oversees social media accounts and websites to engage existing customers and establish comprehensive brand messaging, enhance brand awareness, and positive public relations
  • Maximizes search engine optimization (SEO) and other tools across multimedia channel
  • Monitors, researches and analyzes trends, customer feedback and new marketing opportunities, brainstorms ideas, and leverages social media / newsletter engagement metrics; collaborates with business partners and proposes solutions to maximize buy-in
  • Coordinates, produces, and reports on financial metrics for advertising campaigns, estimates and contracts to key stakeholders; monitors project status to meet budget
  • Represents Company within and outside the organization; coordinates and attends events, and communicates with external advertising vendors
  • Anticipates, addresses and troubleshoots problems
  • Focuses on maximizing positive interactions, collaborations and outcomes across the Company

Requirements

  • Prior digital marketing experience of at least 1 year highly desirable
  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience in working with digital marketing tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Google and Meta ad platforms) and success in scaling campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Must have prior experience adhering to expected performance metrics
  • Strong writing, editing, analytical skills
  • B2B marketing communications and/or HTML/CSS for email design helpful
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, listening and presentation)
  • Must demonstrate strong organization and documentation skills as well as attention to detail
  • Must effectively demonstrate collaborative work-style, building partnerships both internally among all associates as well as with external business partners
  • Must successfully demonstrate critical thinking, creative ability, problem solving, innovative thinking and ability to implement experiments and conversion tests, present and propose for buy-in
  • Must have prior experience successfully publishing and maintaining digital marketing online content as well as measuring digital traffic and analytics as well as present/report on outcomes to stakeholders
  • Must successfully demonstrate ability to research competitor pricing/products/services
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives successfully
  • Must have successful experience adapting to change, showing agility and confidence, representing the Company in a professional and positive manner
