About the position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator at Roto-Rooter will assist the Director of Digital Marketing in strategizing, executing, and managing various digital marketing initiatives, particularly focusing on SEO and website development. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital landscape and the ability to oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment between internal and external teams while achieving digital marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, manage projects, and help execute a variety of digital initiatives simultaneously, including SEO, technical SEO, website development, optimization, support, and conversion testing.
  • Ensure internal and external teams are aligned with project requirements.
  • Monitor progress, thoroughly test, and validate to confirm best practices are met.
  • Oversee, implement, and manage projects/teams to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Provide leadership and support during strategy, ideation, overall project scope, and implementation for various digital marketing programs.
  • Work with website engineers to develop and test new developments while maintaining a user-friendly website experience.
  • Oversee and maintain the company's website content management system, break/fix support, and administrative tools.
  • Help manage and maintain databases, content, and change requests for the website using a content management system (CMS).
  • Provide back-up support for breaks/fixes of the website.
  • Write project briefs and document new developments on the website and email marketing.
  • Train internal teams on backend management of the website.
  • Assist in executing day-to-day SEO operations.
  • Report and measure digital initiatives to provide ongoing strategy for continued optimizations.
  • Work with various teams and agencies to develop a content calendar for onsite and offsite amplification.
  • Maintain Google Business Profile account and ongoing optimizations.
  • Build, execute, and report performances on various marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience with digital marketing.
  • Experience with content management systems, SEO, and Google Business Profile preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and meet multiple priorities in a dynamically changing landscape.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work well in both team and individual settings.
  • Expertise in multi-tasking, strategizing, organizing, and prioritizing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Chrome Dev Tools, Google Core Web Vitals, Google Search Console, Schema Markup, Mobile-first best practices, Content Management Systems, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
