Gaia, Inc. is seeking a Digital Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team, which is responsible for developing and delivering designs for branding, email packaging, and digital creative across the entire company. As the country's premier conscious streaming service, we are looking for a hybrid talent who can wear multiple hats and demonstrate expertise in versatile illustration, graphic design, digital design, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to handle multiple competing deadlines, and a team player. This role requires a creative individual who is committed to delivering visionary assets that continually raise the visual bar for Gaia's brand and inspire our members around the world. In this position, you will create and translate stories into design, organizing and executing graphic design projects across various platforms and campaigns. You will be responsible for creating original illustrated artwork and graphics in both raster and vector formats, and you should be well-versed in the Adobe Suite, particularly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Ensuring brand integrity across all touchpoints and maintaining consistency throughout the member journey is crucial, as is the ability to elevate designs within the brand. Timely delivery of high-quality design assets with proper file naming, saving, and exporting procedures is essential. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with departmental project managers, lead designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce graphic work for both internal and external use. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience, a strong portfolio, and at least 4 years of professional hands-on design experience in a digital environment, preferably with concept or key art creation. An appreciation for A/B testing and using data to inform design decisions is also important. Knowledge of all social media platforms is required, and you should be a team player and problem solver who can adapt in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects and timelines. Open communication to support efficient workflows is essential, as is the ability to provide supplemental design support for various projects. A strong affinity for Gaia content is preferred, and active Gaia membership is strongly encouraged.
