About The Position

We are looking for 1-2 humor/culture/meme digital editors. These individuals won’t produce original content, but they will report on those who do. Each week we’ll want you to write about, and provide links to, the best social media posts, the best tit-for-tat exchanges, the best video clips and more. Political advertising is another viable topic. Keep us informed as to what’s going on – it’s hard to keep up!

Requirements

• Basic experience with digital editing or reporting via social media.
• Desire to be part of a team of mission-focused people working hard to rebuild public trust in the media.
• Commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Preference to those who may get college credit for working with us.

Responsibilities

• Report on the best social media posts, tit-for-tat exchanges, and video clips.
• Write about and provide links to selected content.
• Keep informed about current events and trends in humor, culture, and memes.
• Cover political advertising as a viable topic.
