About the position

Get ready for an immersive 12-week experience with our Summer Internship Program at Inari Medical! This program will offer students a unique opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of medical devices, where cutting-edge technology meets medical innovation. The program will take place onsite at our headquarters located in Irvine, California consisting of two cohort options: 5/19/25 - 8/15/25 and 6/16/25 - 9/12/25. This is not just an internship; it's a chance to learn from and work alongside seasoned industry professionals to make an impact on patients' lives. As a Digital/Downstream Marketing Intern at Inari Medical, you will assist the Downstream Marketing Team in the development and execution of internal and external marketing materials and functions including social media, competitive analysis, and other administrative tasks. You will work closely with our Marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive product adoption and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Downstream Marketing Team in the development of ad hoc marketing materials based on brand guidelines and existing marketing documents.
  • Partner with the social media team on monthly calendar, post schedule, content development and reporting.
  • Conduct research to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to effectively promote and sell Inari Medical products.
  • Work collaboratively across Marketing and other departments.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives, such as surveys, feedback collection, and customer relationship management.
  • Provide administrative support and other duties, as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Self motivated and able to work collaboratively.
  • Strong interest in healthcare, medical devices, or the life sciences industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Adobe suite and/or Canva, a plus.
