About the position

The Digital Asset Manager position at Aquent involves auditing, optimizing, and re-establishing digital file workflows and storage solutions for the Content Design and Content Production teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that digital asset management processes are efficient and evolve with business needs, making it a long-term contract opportunity in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and evaluate all current digital asset workflows and storage solutions.
  • Work closely with the Content Studio Team, Content Design, and Content Production to establish and implement common workflows, file naming conventions, and folder structures.
  • Collaborate with the Design Tech team to ensure integration and accessibility of data organization to other systems and tools.
  • Develop processes for long-term media storage, data consolidation, and ongoing asset management.
  • Verify, troubleshoot, and escalate user-reported anomalies in production environments.
  • Oversee project-specific asset maintenance and implementation.
  • Translate requirements of design teams to capabilities of asset management platform or inform feature development.
  • Establish file and folder taxonomies, setting up workflows within asset management software and systems.
  • Partner with product owners and engineering teams on user stories, prioritizing feature requests and bug fixes.
  • Ensure integration of asset management platform with other project management systems.
  • Carry out formal user acceptance testing, reporting anomalies in production environments, escalating and tracking accordingly.
  • Assist with data migration and planning.
  • Assist with user and group permissions models related to team workflow.
  • Author documentation, create and facilitate high fidelity presentations for onboarding and periodic training sessions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing digital assets and workflow at a high-volume creatively driven streaming service or production studio.
  • Extensive experience evaluating and setting up media and entertainment workflows using industry-leading asset management software and systems.
  • Technical proficiency with various project structures and file formats for both static and video assets, including metadata and versioning.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and foster a high degree of organization across teams.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to create and disseminate documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Keynote savvy for creation and presentation of collected data or training documentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent design-sense and follow-through across deliverables.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Wrike, Airtable, Asana, WorkFront or similar platforms.
