About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Full-time Registered Dietitian for Queen's Medical Center West Oahu, located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This 104-bed community hospital is part of Queens Health System and is approximately 25 miles west of Honolulu. The role involves delivering nutrition care to inpatients with a range of medical conditions, participating in daily ICU rounds as part of the interdisciplinary team, leading quality initiatives, and educating/collaborating with physicians, nurses, and care teams.

Requirements

• A Registered Dietitian credential
• A Hawaii license and are a Registered Dietitian and client insurance credentialing is required
• Servesafe certification is required within 90 days
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Be a self-starter and a team player
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care to inpatients with a range of medical conditions
• Participate in daily ICU rounds as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Lead quality initiatives (patient satisfaction rounds, test trays)
• Educate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams
