About the position
Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL. This role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in an acute care setting, working as part of an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality nutrition care for various patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with various conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and renal disease.
- Document patient care in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
- Manage time effectively to meet patient needs and departmental goals.
- Utilize the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in patient assessments and care planning.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Florida required before the start date.
- One year of experience working as a dietitian in an acute care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP).
- Experience documenting in an electronic health record.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
- Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to diverse patient populations.
